A NEW shop offering presents to help the less fortunate has been launched by church volunteers.
Helpers who attend King's Church have opened The Extravagant Gift Store, which is based at the site of the former Post Office in Sycamore Road, Amersham-on-the-Hill.
The volunteers will be on hand to offer customers the chance to buy a 'gift of hope' which will be sold to support children and widows living in the slums of Kampala in Uganda as part of the Revelation Life charity.

AN appeal to raise £40,000 for a piece of equipment to help the early detection of heart disease has been launched.
Fundraising charity Scannappeal officially marked the start of its HeartScan campaign to raise funds to start a cardiac imaging service at Amersham Hospital yesterday.
