Children take part in a circus workshop at a supermarket
YOUNG shoppers were plate spinning down aisles and juggling at the tills when they took part in a circus workshop at a supermarket.
The event was the second part of a series of free in store activities at Tesco, in London Road, Amersham, to thank customers for their patience following work which took place to enhance the supermarket.
The circus workshop gave children the opportunity to learn a range of skills taught by trained professionals.
Store manager Mark Hudson said: "The circus workshop was great and created a fun atmosphere in store. Some of the staff even joined in and we found out that a few had a hidden talent for juggling."
The final event will take place on Saturday when children's favourite Peppa Pig visits the store. Children will have the opportunity to meet the star who will be posing for photos at intervals throughout the day.
She will be making five guest appearances at 11am, noon, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm.
In addition to this customers can also enjoy free face painting from 11am to 4pm.
The store has extended Sunday opening hours and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, until September 9.
