A TEENAGER has died after being involved in a two-car smash in Amersham on new year's eve.
A silver Volkswagen Polo collided with a red Mazda RX8 close to Tesco in London Road West.
The driver of the Polo, who was a 19-year-old woman from Hertfordshire, died, according to police, who were called to the scene at 5.26pm. Her identity has not yet been made public.

The driver of the Mazda was treated for minor injuries, a police spokesperson said.
Crews from Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service also attended the scene.
The crash came hours after another collision in Amersham on the same day. Two women were injured in a two-car crash in Whielden Lane, at around 12.30pm. Two fire crews from Amersham worked to free the women from the wreckage. A man, a woman, and two children had already been released. The extent of the women's injuries are not yet known.

We'd like to hear from you.

I saw the police sign and thought 'oh dear' then seconds later saw a crowd of teenagers walking along towards this all with bunches of flowers, then realised it was probably a teenager who had died, another tragic waste. So sorry for all who knew her!!
