Teenager died from head and neck injuries
A TEENAGE girl who was killed in a new year's eve car crash died from head and neck injuries, a post mortem has concluded.
Katy Hanafan, 19, died at the scene of the collision when her silver Volkswagen Polo collided with a Red Mazda RX8 travelling in the opposite direction at around 5.15pm.
Last week The Examiner reported on tributes paid to Miss Hanafan, of Sleets End, Hemel Hempstead. Her family described her as 'the most caring and beautiful daughter' and 'the life and soul of any party'.
An inquest into Miss Hanafan's death has been opened and adjourned.
