A TEENAGER who died in a new year's eve car crash in Amersham has been named.
Katy Hanafan, 19, of Sleets End, Hemel Hempstead, died at the scene of a two vehicle collision on the A413 between the A404/A413 roundabout and the A355/Gorehill roundabout.
Ms Hanafan's silver Volkswagen Polo, which was travelling towards Amersham, collided with a Red Mazda RX8, which was travelling towards Aylesbury, at around 5.15pm.

The driver of the Mazda was treated for minor injuries.

Words of support were also left for Ms Hanafan's boyfriend Mark Wamsley. He said: "I just want to thank everyone so much for all the support, its going to be a lonely world without Katy and she will be greatly missed but without everyone I know I don't know what I would of done, THANK YOU."
He added: "Rest in Peace beautiful angel look down on me with pride until we meet again xxxxxx"
