Posted by Hannah Williams on Dec 11, 09 01:58 PM in People

PANTO stars Peter Pan and Wendy will switch on the Christmas lights in Amersham-on-the-Hill tonight.
The actors from the Elgiva Theatre pantomime will light up the town at 5pm outside St Michael and All Angels Parish Church in Sycamore Road as part of the town's Christmas festival.
The event, organised by The Amersham Action Group, will feature choir performances and a session by the Amersham Town Band.

A farmer's market will take place in Sycamore Road, which will be closed to traffic between 4pm and 8pm.
Organisation and businesses selling jewellery, handbags, holly garlands and Christmas cards will hold stalls in the area and shops will remain open late.
Children can enjoy the two roundabouts, a fairground organ and Santa's Sleigh which will be present on the night.
Free car parking is available in the Sycamore Road car park from 3pm.

We'd like to hear from you.
