Christmas fair round-up
SCHOOLS across Amersham and Little Chalfont will be holding their Christmas fairs as the festive season gets underway.
Ones that take place soon include:
Little Chalfont Primary School - 'Angels and elves' will be the theme at the Christmas fair which takes place on Saturday (28/11). A barbecue, Santa's Grotto, home-made cakes and festive stalls will be available at the school in Oakington Avenue between 12.30pm and 3pm.
Henry Allen Nursery School - has invited Santa and will have stalls and refreshments on Saturday (28/11). It takes place at Woodside Junior School in Mitchell Walk, Amersham, between 2pm and 4pm.
Dr Challoner's Grammar School - a festive fair takes place on Saturday December 5 between 12pm and 4 pm at the school in Chesham Road, Amersham.
St Georges School - Santa will be in his grotto at the school in White Lion Road, Amersham. Stalls, raffles, tombola, mince pies and mulled wine will set the mood at the fair which takes place on December 4 between 3pm and 4.30pm.
There will also be a room for children to go and select mum's and dad's present to have it wrapped for Christmas Day.
