Crackdown on anti-social behaviour begins

Posted by Hannah Williams on Oct 20, 09 11:33 AM in People

A TWO-MONTH crackdown on anti-social behaviour in the Chiltern District has been launched this week.
Thames Valley Police and Chiltern District Council launched Operation Confidence which will involve extra police visiting residents who have called them in the past about anti-social behaviour and will offer their services to help tackle the crime.

Chief Inspector Ian Hunter, Commander for Chiltern, said they want to bring about 'real solutions' to address the problem.
He said: "Please make use of our teams when they are in your neighbourhood and tell us about anything, however small, which affects the place you live and rest assured that we will make changes for the better."

We'd like to hear from you.
