Letters damaged in post box fire
LETTERS sent from an Amersham post box may have been left damaged after a fire broke out last week.
Mail at a post box in Hundred Acres Lane may not reach its destination following the small blaze on Thursday.
Firefighters attended the scene at 12.04pm and used bucks of water to extinguish the fire.
Royal Mail spokesperson Valerie Antoine said:"Boxes are cleared daily and we would advise anyone posting mail who may have been affected by this incident and has any questions to contact our customer services on 08457 740 740."
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said it had not recorded the incident as a suspected arson attack.

I only visited this site to find somewhere in Amersham to visit this afternoon in my trusty 80's car, saw your comments, and putting two and two together, realised almost immediately who you were!
You really should try being nice to people, rather than belittling them all the time!! You are likely to carry more respect from other members of the public if you do!!

I can assure you that I have plenty of purpose to my life.
Indeed, I have neighbours that surround me with offers of hospitality almost weekly.
I fear that you may have the wrong impression of me, as you attempt to sully and discredit me wherever I go.
