ELECTION RESULT: Penn, Coleshill and Holmer Green

DAVID Schofield has been elected as county council representative for Penn, Coleshill, and Holmer Green.
Mr Schofield (Con) won with 2,199 votes against Bob Young (Lib Dem) with 515 votes, Phillip Whitehead (UKIP) with 328 votes and Lynda Greenhill (Lab) with 145 votes.
He said: "I am so pleased to have been elected and would like to thank all the voters and the everyone who has helped me with my campaign."
There was a turnout of 47 per cent of the electorate in the ward.
