Project manager Graeme Cooper, 35, was rushed to accident and emergency at Stoke Mandeville Hospital suffering from concussion and a broken hand, which required immediate surgery.

The incident in Amersham took place at 6pm on Wednesday, February 11, and now Mr Cooper is due back at hospital to learn whether his injuries will require a further operation.
He was off from work for a week and, according to his wife, he was in a lot of pain. But his morale has improved and he is now "quite okay, " said Mrs Cooper.
The drama started back in February when one of three teenagers in a 1990's VW maroon Polo chucked a soft drink at him in Hill Avenue.
Then, after catching up with the troublesome trio, unfortunate Mr Cooper was somehow knocked off his bike. He cannot recall exactly what happened. Police attended the scene and the hope remains that something tangible might have been caught on CCTV camera.
The Cooper family hope that, by publicising the incident, someone might come forward who saw the accident and would be able to talk about it officially.
"My husband has been the victim of a hit and run, required an operation and hospitalisation, and he now has a bad scar on his face and hand, as off work for a week, and is now unable to drive for another month, " said Mrs Cooper.
The Cooper's have urged anyone with information to contact the police on their non-emergency number: 0845 8505 505.
