Am-Abba.jpgA charity fun evening with proceeds donated to London's Great Ormond Street Hospital proved a great success at Amersham's Jubilee Scout Hall.
The event on Friday, March 6 was billed as Great Ormond Street Meets Abba.
A total of 140 people attended and made more than £5,000 .
Claire Watson, Jenny Watson, Heidi Nelson, Caroline Holden, Denise Kolb, and Jo Collins organised the event.

It was a one off event, but we hope to do something similar again, " said Mrs Kolb.
Dawn McNeill was best dressed woman, arriving as a punk rocker. Husband John was suitably well turned out as Ziggy Stardust, a David Bowie creation from the 1970s.
Amersham town mayor, Martin King, ran a successful charity auction to help boost the evening's takings.

We'd like to hear from you.
