Hyde-Heath-Efit.jpgPolice investigating a serious sexual assault on a teenage girl in Hyde Heath have released an e-fit of the person they want to speak to in connection with the attack.
The victim was approached by boy when she was in Hyde Heath Park in Hyde Heath Road between 4.30pm and 6pm on March 11.
The boy is described as white in his mid to late teens, about 6ft, muscular, has dark hair with a blond ponytail and was wearing a black T-shirt with white horizontal stripes and brown trousers. He was driving a silver or gold BMW.
Police stepped up patrols in the area following the incident.

Am-NAG-Logoi.jpgA certificate of commendation and a trip around Amersham Police Station will greet young Joseph Rance now that he has proved himself a dab hand at designing logos.
Joseph, aged nine and who lives in Amersham, impressed everyone at school with his artistic skills after he accepted a challenge to design a logo or badge for the Amersham Neighbourhood Action Group (NAG).
The pupil at St Mary's Primary School relished the task in front of him and he was feted for his undoubted skills, receiving praise from both head teacher Julie Hills and visiting PCSO Hannah White.

Thriller writer Sam Enthoven will visit the Amersham School on Stanley Hill on Wednesday April 1, between 11.20am and 12.20pm.
The internationally published author is expected to enliven a question and answer session with some information about his latest work.
Mr Enthoven is a frequent visitor to school's many of whom have been impressed with his incisive logic and the meticulous plotting he brings to all his stories.

Cliff Richard fans are in for a treat this weekend.
For the Little Chalfont Methodist Church players will present Summer Holiday, the musical, at the church in Chalfont Avenue tomorrow (March 20) at 7.30pm and on Saturday (March 21) at 2.30pm and 7.30pm respectively.

Longserving district refuse collector Fred Pedder is calling it a day after 42 years on the bins.
Mr Pedder, aged in his sixties, of London Road, Amersham, took time out from a busy working schedule on his last day to greet district council chairman Councillor Phil Priestley who arrived with a gift from his colleagues.

Tescos, in the London Road, has submitted an ambitious blueprint to the district council for a futuristic wind turbine which would enable the store dramatically to reduce its carbon emissions.

Am-Abba.jpgA charity fun evening with proceeds donated to London's Great Ormond Street Hospital proved a great success at Amersham's Jubilee Scout Hall.
The event on Friday, March 6 was billed as Great Ormond Street Meets Abba.
A total of 140 people attended and made more than £5,000 .
Claire Watson, Jenny Watson, Heidi Nelson, Caroline Holden, Denise Kolb, and Jo Collins organised the event.

A man with a bee in his bonnet, Jim Brooks of Chessfield Park has become so concerned that UK bees risk extinction in less than a decade, that he has sent more than 400 emails to interested parties.
Already, his 'Bee Alert' campaign has generated quite a buzz by featuring on national television and has been taken up by several environmental groups and by the national congress of the WI.

Now mindless intruders have kicked their way the sports pavilion at Westwood Park off Elizabeth Avenue, causing several hundred pounds worth of damage.
The self styled Elizabeth Avenue Goonz, who have seemingly claimed responsibility for the crime, having daubed this logo on the front door to the pavilion, are one Little Chalfont gangs who have been making life hell for residents in and around the pavilion.

22449822  TVP.jpgA Hyde Heath woman has hit out at yobs after her husband fell off his bike after they threw a soft drink at him resulting in him breaking his hand at peak commuting time.
Project manager Graeme Cooper, 35, was rushed to accident and emergency at Stoke Mandeville Hospital suffering from concussion and a broken hand, which required immediate surgery.
