Teaching girls how to become fairies

Posted by Greg Burns on Feb 3, 09 11:53 AM in People

Fairy-team.jpgLittle girls are being given the opportunity to learn how to be fairies by students at Dr Challoner's and Beaconsfield High School.
Girls at both the schools are holding fairy sessions during February half term which youngsters can go along to for the day.
The courses are part of the Young Enterprise scheme undertaken by both schools, wish sees the girls running their own business.

During the courses, little girls can decorate boxes, make jewellery, have their faces painted and receive certificates for their work.
Sophie Howard, managing director of the course at Dr Challoner's High School, said: "I think the sense of achievement is very important for kids to experience early on.
"Particularly since we've gone into recession, it's nice for parents to know that their children can have fun cheaply during half term."
The courses take place at booth schools on February 19.
For more information on how to take part, call Sophie Howard on 07896772489.
