Slim for Scannappeal

IF your New Year Resolution is going to be to lose weight, then why don't you shed lbs and raise £££'s for cancer patients in South Bucks!
Scannappeal, based at Amersham Hospital, is running its third annual sponsored slim in aid of its Cancer Fighting Fund. This Appeal is for state-of-the-art equipment to detect cancer, and for the treatment of cancer patients in the Buckinghamshire area.

Scannappeal is currently raising funds for equipment to speed up the diagnosis and treatment of prostate and bladder cancers at Wycombe Hospital and for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer at Amersham Hospital.
The sponsored slim starts on Monday , January 12 for a total of eight weeks. Last year's slimmers lost more than 400lbs and raised £5,000 to help local patients. For the duration of the slim, participants will receive weekly updates and tips from local fitness guru, Sarah Liveing of Walking For Weight Loss.
