Am-Dr-Challoners-Fair.jpgIce skating proved a popular attraction at The Friends of Dr Challoner's Grammar School Christmas fair on Saturday.
This was the first time that a Bucks school has created an ice rink for a festive function and plenty of pupils tackled the challenge.

A skeleton team of specialists were on hand to provide rudimentary tuition in the delicate art of skating concentrating on how not to fall over and hurt yourself.
More than 400 people attended the function at the school in Chesham Road, Amersham and they enjoyed a variety of stalls and culinary delights. Carol Veronique coordinator of The Friends, said: "The ice skating proved very popular. I did not have a go personally because I am sure I would have fallen down flat."
There was a chocolate fountain, hot dog stall, curry stall, and various crafts.
