Spaces open up for cricketers

Posted by Greg Burns on Nov 26, 08 02:26 PM in People

Cricket lovers take note! There are playing spaces available at the Barn Meadow in Old Amersham.
Anyone interested in arranging matches should know that available spaces exist for both Saturdays and Sundays.
These can be friendly fixtures or league games, to suit.
Anyone interested should contact the town council via e-mail at admin@amersham-tc.gov.uk.

We'd like to hear from you.

I am delighted that Mr. Knowles has seen fit to write to 'set the record straight'. I also would like to do the same. The only comment in The Advertiser that should be attributed to me, (and please note the appropriate quotation punctuation marks), is the one extending my appreciation to the residents of Amersham for their wonderful support in my endeavour to preserve Barn Meadow as an Open Space. (Recreation and Sports ground, i.e. A Town or Village Green, they all mean the same). All other comments come from the newspaper or Martin King.
I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate my gratitude to the people of the local community for their overwhelming support and encouragement.
