An art exhibition at Amersham Common Village Hall in White Lion Road proved a great success and featured the work of the 102-strong Beechwood Artists.
Spokeswoman Liz Grammenos (correct) said a total of 20 paintings had been sold. The Donald Walton Award was won by Zoe Preston for her picture of two goldfish, which she called Niskikigo, the Japanese for goldfish.
Another award went to John Tromans from Chalfont St Giles for his painting of Halnaker Windmill in Sussex.
