AN AS level pupil at Dr Challoner's High School in Little Chalfont is focusing on a monumental fund raising battle in a bid to win a trip to far-off Costa Rica.
Zoe Hunt, 16, of Jasons Hill, Chesham, is determined to net her goal of £3,000 - which will qualify her for inclusion on the school's Operation Raleigh trip to Central America.

With £400 in the kitty and another eight months to achieve her goal, Zoe is demonstrating versatility and courage as she forges ahead.
She is planning a sky diving session in the very near future and she has also taken a part-time weekend teaching job as she bids to pull in the cash.
Zoe is also proving a dab hand when it comes to letter writing and she has inundated the local business community with a variety of fund raising missives.
Another determined venture is a cake sale and Zoe's talents have been deployed to good effect in the kitchen, serving up an array of delights.
Her dad, Nick Hunt, said he was proud of his daughter's versatility. He said: "She is working hard and relishing this challenge."
Relishing her studies too in religious studies, English, drama, and politics, Zoe is certainly pushed for time. But she will go the extra mile for the project.
If she qualifies for the summer trip, the aim is certainly something Zoe is happy to endorse: building a fresh water supply to a remote village community in the floral rich paradise.
"It is a good challenge, " she said, "I am scared of the sky diving but am certainly looking forward to the visit to Central America, surely a life-changing experience.
Anyone wishing to back Zoe's efforts should contact her dad, Nick, in the first instance, on 01895 828762.

We'd like to hear from you.
