A charity is keeping up its theme of unusual fundraising events by holding a Santa Dash.
Following on from the successful night walk in Amersham, Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is now asking supporters to take on a very special Christmas fundraiser.
Hundreds of Santas will be rushing around Lowndes Park on Sunday, November 30 to raise money for the charity. It is the first time it has held a Santa Dash, which will involve participants running or walking 1.5 miles around the park in a Santa outfit.

Jo Neale, community fundraiser for the charity, said: "We are extremely excited about the Santa Dash, it is the first time we've organised this event and it is set to be a fun and exciting day for everyone involved. Following the overwhelming success of this year's Goodnight Walk in Amersham, we are hoping that our supporters will get together and turn out in even greater numbers in Chesham this Christmas and help to make it this biggest and best Christmas fundraising event yet."
Entry fees are £10 for an adult, £5 for a child and £20 for a family/team and includes a Santa costume.
On the day, there will be refreshments, music stalls and entertainment making it a perfect day out for the family.
Prizes will be given to the individual and team who raised the most money in sponsorship and there will be a drawing competition for children.
Councillor Alison Pirouet, mayor of Chesham, said: "It gives me great pleasure to be involved with the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home Santa Dash. IRHH do sterling work in partnership with my charity, The Pepper Foundation which specialises in paediatric nursing care at home. I hope the event is a wonderful success and encourage everyone to take part and have fun."
The charity will be promoting the Santa Dash next Wednesday by dressing up as Father Christmas and bringing along mascot Rennie the bear.
