Amersham and Chesham hard of hearing club

Posted by Emma Lindsey on Sep 29, 08 09:11 AM in Clubs/societies

Barbara Owen gave a very humorous talk on Healthy Living at the meeting of the Amersham and Chesham Hard of Hearing Club in September.
Mrs Owen, a qualified domestic science teacher, does not think that people should feel guilty if they occasionally indulge themselves, but believes that people are the best judge of what their bodies need. She says those of a happy disposition and who eat what they like - but in moderation - will lead a healthy life.

The club meets once a month in the Red Cross Hall, Chiltern Avenue, Amersham, on Tuesdays at 7.30pm.
The next meeting will be on October 14, when David Burnett will give a programme of slides to music.
For information about the club, contact the chairman at 137 Chessfield Park, Little Chalfont, Bucks,
HP6 6RU, or call 01494 762 159.
