Police raid cannabis factory in Amersham

Four people have been arrested and a large amount of cannabis seized after police raided a house in Amersham.

Police swooped on the property in Station Road at 7.30am on Sunday morning after their intelligence suggested cannabis plants were being cultivated on a large scale at the house.

Local Police Area (LPA) Commander for Chiltern, Ch Insp Stuart Greenfield, said: "We have managed to put a stop to a significant cannabis production operation and make a series of arrests in connection with it. We take the fight against drugs extremely seriously and we are working to drive out those who deal in the misery and death caused by drugs."
